Since April 2011, LIGHT FOR THE WORLD The Netherlands has been part of the LIGHT FOR THE WORLD confederation. LIGHT FOR THE WORLD is one of the leading European NGOs dedicated to restoring eyesight, preventing blindness, providing rehabilitation and access to inclusive education, and promoting the human rights of persons with disabilities. LIGHT FOR THE WORLD supports 175 programmes in 25 countries.
We are proud to be the fourth member of the confederation, after Austria, Belgium and Czech Republic.
