Organisation mission statement
CSF mission is to work with children with disabilities, their families, community members, service providers and programme planners to ensure that no child in Bangladesh is disabled from potentially preventable or treatable/remediable causes (biological and social) and all children with disabilities and their families have access to education, rehabilitation, recreation, self-help and equal participation in the society and its development. Ultimately, CSF’s mission is to support an inclusive society for all children.

Project purpose
- To maintain a network of professionals (special interest group on childhood cataract in Asia)
- To provide a forum for discussion and experience sharing on childhood cataract detection and management in Asia
- To develop childhood cataract detection and management system in different Asian countries
Targets Description
- 1 Network will be formatted by end of June 2013
- 6 Participants will be trained on childhood cataract detection and management system
- 1 Training session will be organised by June 2013
- 30 Members of the network will be informed childhood cataract detection programme
- 2 Counries in Asia will take initiative to start childhood cataract detection programme
